The Motz Group (TMG) is pleased to be the synthetic turf specialist selected for the Cleveland Heights High School football stadium’s natural to synthetic turf conversion. With construction already underway, we are installing our signature dual fiber, CrossFlex HP with Envirofill High Performance Infill. This system is the perfect blend of both types of synthetic fibers, ensuring long-lasting durability and optimal performance for multi-sport use.
Cleveland Heights’ new synthetic turf field will allow the school’s soccer, lacrosse and field hockey teams to play at the stadium, which has only been used for football in the past. The new field also will be used for physical educations classes during school hours.
The combination of wear-resistant slit-film and monofilament synthetic fibers CrossFlex HP will allow for continuous use of the playing field and accommodate multiple sport specialties. Plus, by selecting Envirofill, Cleveland Heights will experience the ultimate in ball-to-surface interaction. “In addition to creating a high-performance surface, the use of Envirofill supports the school district’s sustainability goals as it can be used for multiple turf life-cycles without a loss in performance” said Adam Coleman, Vice President of USGreentech.
“We couldn’t be more excited to play a role in taking Cleveland Heights’ athletic program to the next level! This new synthetic turf field will serve as a platform for many young athletes, therefore making sure they have a safe, reliable, and long-lasting surface is our number one priority,” said Matt Hogg, Field Consultant for The Motz Group.
