The Motz Group Partners with Reds Community Fund for Annual Purpose Day

More than 100 employee owners from The Motz Group will volunteer to make a positive impact in the community

CINCINNATI – On October 17, The Motz Group will turn their purpose into action during their annual all team Purpose Day in partnership with the Cincinnati Reds Community Fund and the P&G MLB Cincinnati Reds Youth Academy.

Purpose Day is a Motz Moves initiative, which is centered around moving people to better lives—throughout their team, community, and families.

Motz takes pride in being a people-first organization and works to continuously give back to the communities they serve. The employee-owned company participates in and hosts several service projects, food, clothing and blood drives, and various fundraisers each year.

“Our Purpose is to Move People to Better Lives,” says Zach Burns, CEO of The Motz Group. “Motz Moves is dedicated to empowering our employee owners and supporting community partners like the Reds Community Fund in creating positive, lasting change. Our annual Purpose Day is an opportunity for our whole team to come together, work towards a common goal, and be of service to our local communities.”

For 2024 Purpose Day, Motz team members will come together to build new bullpens for all fields at the Reds Youth Academy and support a variety of maintenance and beautification projects throughout the property.

The Reds Youth Academy offers free, year-round baseball and softball training facilities for boys and girls ages 4-18 residing primarily in Greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky urban neighborhoods.

“We’re thrilled to welcome The Motz Group to the Reds Academy to enhance a facility that they helped build over a decade ago,” said Charley Frank, Executive Director of the Reds Community Fund. “Motz has been a tremendous partner at the Academy and throughout the community, as both partners understand the importance of giving back. We’re excited to continue collaborating with the Motz team and grateful for their efforts to keep the Reds Academy a best-in-class facility.”
