Project Details
Truist Park, located in Atlanta, Georgia, is one of the nation’s newest baseball stadiums, with the playing field designed and built by The Motz Group. The relationship between Motz and the Atlanta Braves dates back more than two decades, with the construction of Turner Field for the 1996 Atlanta Olympics. When the team began the process of designing their new home, they naturally turned to Motz to engineer a high tech, state-of-the-art vacuum and ventilation field system. The Motz Group delivered on that challenge with the development of AirPAT™ – the most advanced field management system available today. The design/build contract encompassed all work above subgrade, including drainage, irrigation, rootzone, sod, infield, mounds, warning track, bullpens, batting cages, trench drains, water recycling, rootzone ventilation, and all electro-mechanical components associated with the AirPAT™ system.
