We pursued the ambitious construction of four turf fields simultaneously with Motz. From the initial planning phase to the design phase, and through the construction phase Motz was continually collaborative, efficient, and highly effective. All four fields exceeded the expectations of our students, schools, and communities. Motz were great partners in the construction of all four turf fields.
Boone County School District
Grass track reconstruction was one of Churchill Downs’ largest projects. Being able to rely on Motz’s extensive expertise made life a lot less stressful. Their continuous communication kept everyone up to speed and their willingness to flex and adapt kept the project on time and on budget.

Our goal with this playing surface was to provide a championship-quality pitch that exceeds MLS standards and best practices for player safety, playability, and aesthetics. The combination of turfgrass technology and products that we’ve compiled here will allow us to do exactly that.
