Cincinnati Reds Great American Ball Park
The Cincinnati Reds played for decades in Riverfront Stadium, sharing the venue with the Cincinnati Bengals. When the Bengals moved down the street to Paul Brown Stadium and plans were struck for the Reds’ new baseball-only stadium, The Motz Group converted Riverfront’s old Astroturf-over-asphalt surface to a temporary grass field that got the team through the two years leading up to the opening of Great American Ball Park. Since building GABP in 2003, we have been the Reds’ exclusive playing field provider, handling major surface and warning track renovations and concert and non-sporting event field repairs. We have also built several MLB Play Ball RBI youth academy and player development fields, and partnered with the Reds’ 501c3 foundation on numerous community service projects.
